I started this Japanese 3/4 sleeve today. Really fun stuff. The motives correspond to his family’s birth year animals in the Japanese zodiac calendar. Him and his wife as the tiger and snake, and their three kids represented with (hopefully correct, client’s research) signs on a hanging banner, all in an autumn setting with maple leafs and chrysanthemum flowers and buds. This will also, ironically enough, be a coverup of his western zodiac sign on the upper arm; a scorpion that Nille did back in the day. Ha! — Joel
